Hello, I am Analori, and you can call me many other names as well, but first, lemme introduce myself. I'm a professional 2D sequential artist who was born and raised in Mexico 🇲🇽(I still live here!) and watched too many animes while I was a baby. Most of my inspiration comes from cartoons and visual art I find mystifying and sometimes inscrutable, and by having parents who only wanted me to learn as much as I could, I had access to all sorts of media in my youth and late teens: books, films, music, magazines, documentaries, etc. I'm an adult now, and while I was mildly interested in fandom culture in my puberty, I never really interacted with anyone until I was much older - I consider myself an insulated kinda fan, and maybe that was for the best. That said, I do not support harassment of any kind - if you're into bullying others for their Naruto yaoi, then this is not a place for you.
My main drive for art is emotion and commotion, but also mystery and intensity. Mostly, I draw things a sort of 'plot' in mind, which may or may not develop itself into something else, however, I do it instinctively, no matter what kind of piece I'm working on.
I may write from time to time in spanish! It is my mother tongue, and I do consider myself quite proficient at it.
What a mouthful! Care to do a TL;DR?
Sure: I'm an artist and I love art!

There's a lotta things I like! Mainly: Art. Uh huh.
Art is driven by emotions, though, inappropriate and crude, sometimes, torturous and intense, and maybe other people won't understand them, but that is why we craft art; it is this truth that I love and live by, and so this is my main Like 👍
I also like yaoi and plants and dogs and walks in the park. Music too! But don't talk to me about it or I won't shut up for a thousand years.
I will make a dedicated 'Likes' page in the not-so-far future, I swear.

Back in my day (or at least when I was younger) people used to do these little graphics featuring their bag's content. Artists are all about carrying abunch of random trinkets with them, and even if I am an occasional artist, I still carry a lot of things with me.
...Or so I'd like to believe.
Alright, I don't, but here it is, anyway. You can tell we go buy groceries a lot. And by we I mean Walter and I.

Here's what's in my bag! From left to right:

My main gear is a PC I had the opportunity to build while I had a job, plus a Huion display tablet.
If you're into specs and such, here you go:
Clip Studio Paint
Toon Boom Storyboard Pro
Procreate
Adobe Premiere, After effects, Illustrator, and Media Encoder
Dell display monitor (2)
Huion Kamvas 24
Keychron K4 Mechanical Keyboard
Ipad
Sike! I could do a much more detailed list about PC parts and everything, but it's not that important to me.
Alternatively, I also work with traditional mediums! Since I'm mostly a draftsman, my main weapons are: pencil and paper. And that's it! Inking is also another discipline I go into, although I don't do it as much as I'd like. Finally, I work with colored pencils and watercolors, and recently, I've been experimenting with gouache paints.

Oh man! This is a pretty intimidating section to me, so I'll keep it short (for now).
Visually, I draw a lot of inspiration from anime and manga, mainly because I was a massive weeb and never really grew out of it. Even though there are no visuals in music, I draw a lot of visual inspiration from it, as well: I think most people can perceive motion from any kind of music, it's only natural that I apply that to my art.
Dragons and mythical creatures were so fascinating for me, so I absorbed all sorts of stories and descriptions of the beasts that roamed the collective imaginarium of humanity. Secretly, I still hope dragons will soar the heavens. Sigh. In other words, I'm also inspired by legends and mythology, anything that leaves me wondering on 'what if it was true?'
As an internet spelunker, I intrinsically navigated towards Internet mysteries and cryptozoology: ghost videos, strange apparitions, long lost enigmas and perplexing visions that you can only find on the web! We might've lost the Library of Alexandria, but we are connected to the Internet. Who knows what's out there? It's in those Urbex footages we could get a glimpse of what lies across the fog.
I also want to add videogames and the experiences I shared with my parents and siblings. Vivid memories of my dad gunning down Ganado in Resident Evil 4, my cousin saving the world from Jenova in Final Fantasy 7, my eldest brother traveling through Cyrodiil in the Elder Scrolls IV (Oblivion will forever be the Best), and my other brother takin' a ride in Marvel vs. Capcom 2. It's these memories and the joint sensation of watching others play that's still present in my head - perhaps this may be the reason behind my affinity for streams and such.
